Format: This is Individual Stroke Play. You are trying to obtain your best net score for each hole over a two-day period. You record your gross and net score for each hole and then the total the gross and net scores for each round. Then record the lower of the two net scores on each hole and total these to produce the "Ringer" score for the tournament.
Winners: This is a flighted tournament. The number of flights, the number of winners in each flight and the amounts of monetary awards will be determined by the number of participants and named by the tournament directors. Ties are broken using match of cards according to USGA recommended procedures.
Rules: USGA Stroke Play Rules apply. No Gimmes. Since this is a tournament, you must play out the hole on Day 1. You cannot take your maximum score without holing the ball. On Day 2, you should continue to record a score for each hole; however, you can record a maximum score if necessary to keep pace with the group in front of you. ORLGA Local Rules apply.
Awards: These are monetary and presented at a gathering immediately after the last round.
