Panther's Run or Lion's Paw

In this annual fun event the leagues play against each other in a better net of partner match play format.

Cost:  $5.00 per person charged in the past
The Entry Fee was to be paid on the day of the tournament to one of
the tournament directors.

Signup: There were two signups; one for ladies on our website and one for men on the ORMGA
website.
Deadline for signup was one week prior to the tournament.

Tee Times: This has been an afternoon Shotgun Start

Game:   Better Net Match Play

Format: Better net of the partners: men vs women. Whichever team wins the most holes wins
the match. Each match is worth one point, with ties taking a half point each.
90% handicap was used.

Rules:   All players played their own ball. Individual putts or holes could be conceded, and once conceded, a player picked up and moved on to speed up pace of play. The ball was played down unless CPO. IF CPO, then you could LCP in your own fairway. There was a closest to the pin challenge on the four Par 3’s.

Prizes: Bragging rights, closest to the pin as a team and a trophy for the overall winners.

Awards: Immediately following golf at Tamers.
